Ellenbrook Toastmasters

Toastmasters is coming to Ellenbrook

We are in the process of establishing a new club in Ellenbrook, a thriving community north of Perth in the Swan Valley.

A sample meeting has been booked at Ellenbrook Place, a well appointed meeting room above the Library in Main Street.

Wednesday 10 November 6:45 for 7:00pm start

How can YOU help?

By distributing flyers, come to the sample meeting, tell your friends, neighbors, relatives, promote this new club by whatever means you can.

Contact Martin 0402 823 351 – clarke2@iinet.net.au or Vicky 0427 535 636 – vicky@liferenovations.net

We would love to hear from you to help us establish this new club.

Great idea Martin and Vicky. Ellenbrook (and surrounding areas) is a growing community with tremendous diversity. This new Toastmasters’ Club is another terrific initiative that provides a WIN WIN for everyone. I will also be at the meeting to help out.

    Dear Martin & Vicki,

I so your poster up at the Library in Ellenbrook but have already missed the meeting. I’d be interested in joining as I’ve heard a lot about your group who was an active member over in Melbourne.

I’ll keep an eye out on the news/website for updates and hope that you can establish a good member base.

      Hi Nicolette

We would be delighted to have you come along to our next club meeting to he held this Wednesday 24th November. We meet in the upstairs meeting room just above the Ellenbrook Library.

Just a small note of welcome to the Club.

As a new member you will receive two Manuals to work through and they are: The Competent Communications Manual, and; The Competent Leadership Manual. Your focus should now be on learning the requirements for these Manuals and commencing the first projects at the earliest opportunity. Please discuss your personal views on how you wish to complete each Manual with Martin Lindsay our Vice President Education and he will be more than happy to map out a program for you and keep records of your progress.

The most important aspect to keep in mind is that joining Toastmasters is a life changing experience both personally and professionally – it will make you more confident, a better communicator and a better person.

Once again, welcome to the Club – Your journey as a successful speaker is about to commence, please fasten your seatbelt, observe the no Ums and Errs signs and be prepared for a little turbulence.

Good luck. I will see you at one of the Club meetings.

      Kind regards

      Jon Roberts

Ellenbrook Toastmasters is a growing group of members who are positive, professional, fun and dedicated.

We meet every Wednesday night at 6.45 pm for a 7pm start.

I joined Toastmasters late last year and found it to be very rewarding and life changing.

I am so glad that I have taken the step to join Ellenbrook Toastmasters.

I would encourage anyone who lives in the area to come along and have a look at what we do.

    Best wishes
