<description>Congratulations to all the WA toastmasters who have achieved awards already in 2009-10.

Congratulations especially to Jason Fewings for achieving his DTM and to Ross Wilkinson for achieving his Double DTM.

I am watching all educational awards (including WA) with interest.

<description>I am very proud of Canning Vale TM with 6 awards already in just 3 weeks.
We have 4 CCs, 1 CL and 1 ACB with more CLs and CCs in the next few weeks. The club has focused the agenda on member achievement and with that comes the rewards in The Distinguished Club Program. The club committee has put together a DCP plan and will follow it&#039;s progress very closely.
We have had 3 new members this month and more on the way. We hope to achieve Presidents Distinguished status by Feb 2010.
All clubs can achieve this goal with a little planning and a focus on what counts the most, The MEMBERS needs.
Exeed Expectations!!

<description>I am inspired by people who achieve their DTM. To have completed 40 speeches, 23 assignments in the Competent Leader Maual, been a club officer for 12 months, started or mentored a club plus held committee roles, is a fabulous commitment to Toastmasters, their own development and growth.

Congratulations to Ross, Jason and all those who have bravely achieved before. I am looking forward to seeing the names appear this year as others reach what should be the goal of all Toastmasters.</description>

		<description>David,

Thank you for the recognition on the website of my second DTM – it is very humbling to joint the Double DTM “Club” when you consider the calibre of the other Double DTM awardees.

My first DTM was allocated to Fremantle Gourmet. It was my Sponsorship of Gourmet that completed my ALS and consequently my first DTM. My second DTM has been allocated to my home club of Fremantle Gateway. Without Gateway and its superb members I would not have achieved what I have so far in Toastmasters.

Fremantle Gourmet’s July meeting was a sensational meeting. Not only did our members complete numerous manuals and awards, of the 7 visitors we had 5 joined on the night. The other 2 visitors have made a commitment to re-attend with the intention of joining. These new members have not yet appeared on the TMI website as yet, as they are dual members which takes a little longer to process at TMI than a “normal” new member.

If any Toastmaster in WA would like to attend the next Fremantle Gourmet meeting at Rosie O’Grady’s in Fremantle on 13th August, please let me know on either toastmasterross@hotmail.com or 0412 383 386 – I guarantee you will enjoy it.

I would like to pass on my congratulations to Jason Fewings for achieving his DTM.
